We accept payments via Paypal or cheque. We aim to ship within 24 hours of the payment clearing if the items are in stock. Otherwise the leadtime is 14 days. If payment is made via cheque our address is on the "contact us" page and please allow 7 days for the cheque to clear.
Shipping
Our orders are sent by Royal Mail and we send it first class recorded with insurance. This means you get the bag normally the next day but it can take up to 3 working days.
The handbags etc are packaged in a high quality box that is packed with tissue paper.
The scented gift hearts and small scented handbags are wrapped in tissue paper then posted in padded envelopes to keep postage costs to a minimum.
At present we only ship to addresses in the UK.
Postage is calculated on weight at £0.02 per g for total order.
Postage is negotiable for bulk orders, please enquire by email prior to order on site.
Looking After your Bag
Due to the wadding etc used in most of the bags we recommend that you spot clean only with a clean damp (NOT WET) cloth. (Please see shop page for fabric details)
Refunds
Each bag is individually handmade and of very high quality. If you receive an item that is faulty or not of the condition expected we will issue a refund as long as the bag is returned to us within 7 days of receipt. Please note that should you wish to return any item you must let us know immediately and we recommend that you ship it back to us using Royal Mail recorded delivery service at your cost.
The bag must be unused and in its original packaging. A full refund for the value of the bag will then be issued.
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving your bag and will be reimbursed the full value of the bag less postage costs once returned by Royal Mail recordered delivery service. Again, we must stress that it is important that you inform us of your intention to return the goods ASAP within the 7 days.
Your Privacy
In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, SianyChic will never give any of your details including your e-mail address or payment information to any other persons or agencies. I want you to feel completely safe shopping on this website, and recommend that your use the secure Paypal facility for payment.
News for July 2011. Had a visit this week from Isabel who was doing some work experience with me. Isabel is a year 10 student at Caldicot Comprehensive school and has a keen interest in textiles and design.
As a project Isabel had a planned target to make a new bag and also worked along side me to produce some new products for the website and this years events. Please find attached a few pictures of the work in progress and completed items.
